Samantha Ronson’s brother’s girlfriend has officially outed the couple, and that’s not a bad thing! The consensus seems to be they make a great couple, so who cares!

Model Daisy Lowe, who has been dating Mark for about three months, told the Mirror:

I met Lindsay and Sam for the first time during the weekend before the Coachella festival. Sam is an amazing girl. The four of us had a brilliant time - a real laugh. Lindsay is really down to earth. Her and Sam make a lovely couple - they seem really happy.

Their relationship is totally genuine. And they’re just so sweet together. Mark totally approves. But we’re not going to double-date again - I mean, would you go on a date with your brother? It’s just a bit weird and anyway they live in LA, so it’s kinda difficult. But I’d definitely love to see them
again.

Side note, Daisy is the daughter of Gavin Rossdale.

Dominic West is the lead of the awesome HBO show “The Wire” and in an interview he gave to today’s London’s “Guardian”, he spoked about working with Renee Zellweger and Julia Roberts.

On his role opposite Julia in “Mona Lisa Smile”:

The movie didn’t make much sense. We would be given new scenes to film out of the blue which, it transpired, had been written by Julia’s agent, who was doubling as a producer. I don’t know what anyone was doing there. No one seemed to enjoy it. Especially not Julia. She had just got married and just wanted to be off having sex with her husband. Trouble was, she had married the cameraman on the movie. You can’t really relax in a sex scene when the husband is staring right at you.

On his scene in “Chicago” opposite Renée Zellweger:

I learned a lot from working with her. She was so tough. I would hear the director say, ‘Cut’ and then wait for instructions; she would demand another 15 takes until she was absolutely happy with the scene. These leading ladies have it tough: they have to be girly enough to remain attractive but retain a steeliness to get their own way too. Plus, they seem to starve themselves all day to stay in shape.

Although Britney has already filmed a cameo for Madonna’s Sticky&Sweet tour, which will appear on a giant screen as a stage backdrop, the Queen wants Brit to also make a surprise appearance in person at some shows.

Not only that, she is also anxious to get Justin Timberlake on stage too as she wants him to perform one of their duets from the CD.

Madonna’s ultimate dream is to shock the world with JT and Britney appearing on the same stage at her final US date in Miami in November.

Madonna is always trying to raise the bar and Britney and Timberlake on the same stage would be perfect. They have both been asked but I think both are a bit reluctant. Britney would find it all a bit emotional and JT might not fancy it. More likely is that they both appear on different dates. But if anyone can make this happen it’s Madonna.

Remember that “I’m F—– Matt Damon” video Sarah Silverman did just for fun a couple of months back? Well, it seems that someone with power watched the video one too many times, and decided to nominate her for an Emmy.

Although Silverman just broke up with Jimmy Kimmel (they dated for 5 years), the video came as a joke of a fictitious affair.

She’s up for outstanding original music and lyrics, along with fellow writer-composers Tony Baubirei, Wayne McClaucey, Sal Lacono, and Dan Warner.

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are said to be expecting a baby girl tentatively due on October 31, and just like any normal father-to-be, Pete has taken up sewing.

A source told Star,

Ashlee and Pete are on cloud nine. The doctor told them they actually conceived the baby just before Valentine’s Day while they were on vacation and has given them an initial due date of Oct. 31. When Pete heard he might have his baby on Halloween, he went nuts. For an emo-rocker type like Pete, that would be just too perfect!

Will Ferrell is getting work left to right, and has now been cast as the lead in Sony’s comedy Two Face, reports Variety.

The script, penned by Hancock’s writer Vince Gilligan, tells the story of a racist man who develops a split personality after a prank backfires.

Ferrell has been interested in the project for several years, but the recent success of Hancock motivated Sony to move forward with the film.

The plan is for him to star in the film prior to shooting a Sherlock Holmes comedy with Sacha Baron Cohen.

Jack Black has signed on to reprise his role as a wannabe rock star-turned-teacher Dewey Finn, in School of Rock 2: America Rocks.

Richard Linklater will direct for a second time, and a screenplay is being penned by original writer Mike White.

It was announced today that Whoopi Goldberg will join the cast of the hit Broadway musical “Xanadu” on Tuesday, July 29th for a special six week engagement through Sunday, September 7th. She will play the role of Caliope.

In a statement, Ms. Goldberg said,

What better way to stick my toe back on to the Broadway stage than to join the amazing cast of “Xanadu”. It’s such a fun show and is definitely my sensibility, as written by the divine Douglas Carter Beane. For me, it’s going to be unbelievable.

Producer Robert Ahrens agrees,

On behalf of the entire ‘Xanadu’ family, we are overwhelmed and appreciative that Whoopi has chosen to return to her turf of Broadway with our musical. We are thrilled!
