I know everyone is already business back as usual…but I just wanted to post this nice graphic that my sister sent. Designed by Patrick Long out in Portland.
I went out to Scottsdale, Arizona and learned about the amazing Choya cactus which was deadlier than a shotgun blast back in the wild west days, lol. There was some golfing involved. There was alot of offline time. It was awesome. Hope you guys had fun too.
I can’t say I was thrilled by some of the news I’m hearing now that I’m getting back up to speed with the latest hip hop f—kery. If that Soulja Boy thing is really real, then its very scary. (scary to think that the poor guy was being hunted like an iced-out quail….and scary to think that armed robbers know how to put special effects on their voices and have viral marketing savvy).
It seems that Queen Latifah was also robbed out in Tobago. Foul. And Twitter is getting hacked. (which is only marginally worse than the fact that Twitter is getting so overrun, pretty soon I wont be able to talk s–t freely on there anymore. I see I’m gonna have to quit twitter just like myspace.)
Then there’s a bunch of high-profile low-quality new music being trumpeted all over the place, which we’re gonna have to pretend to be excited about at the workplace.
And there was something awkward about this…What’s with the denim shants, Nick?**
And something hilarious about this….plus, Amy had a fling in St. Lucia with her hotel’s resident Santa Clause actor? ***
But this was business as usual.****
(all photos after the jump too)
Now we must brace ourselves for a lot of smug celebs crowing about their inauguration plans.
But thankfully, I’m headed up to Jay Peak, Vermont to spend a few days falling down. And then….it’s all about LOST on Jan 20th.
Keeping hope alive,
